I tried one over the holidays. It’s definitely rich no question there.
You have to really like that type of steak. Many aren’t too fond of that much fat. I enjoyed it but the one thing I did question was the food safety. You have to be OK with eating medium rare hamburger.... because basically when they roll it up like that the inside is cooked to MR ie on the grill you might not get the meat up to temps high enough to kill bacteria. I did mine sous vide ( better way of killing bacteria) and then reverse seared which I’m not a huge fan of with fattier cuts of meat. I’d rather flame broil them. Anyway just my 2 cents.
