Apparently, the brilliant minds in Texas don't see any conflict of interest where the judge presiding over cases receives campaign donations from the lawyers and the parties involved. Nothing like partners in law firms writing out big checks each year to make sure they stay in favor with the judges in the county. Total pay to play system.
