For 6 months out of the year Texas weather is better
It was 80 degrees yesterday in Dallas. Most of the winters here are in the 60's. This is just opinion as some may love to live in cold temps, but the majority don't. July, August and Sept are not good in Texas as it's to hot.
Humidity is more of an issue in south texas, like Houston area.
