Over the past five seasons, the three point shot has taken over the league. Ten years ago there were virtually no NBA games with more 3 point shots than 2 point shots. Now over half of all NBA games have more 3 point attempts than two point attempts.

Another interesting data point is that shooting percentage by distance from the basket (in one foot increments) is roughly the same from 3 feet to 25 feet.
