In the soccer situation, Daniel was right. As a man (male) you're taught to never hit or physically hurt a girl. When Johnny did that, Daniel was absolutely right to step in and help her. I agree he was WRONG throwing water on him in the bathroom, but my guess is he was bullied back in New Jersey and to have it happen again out there, he just had enough. But if he would've left it alone, it all may have diffused, who knows. But, one thing I've always wondered was, WHAT IF, Mr. Myagi didn't save Daniel at the fence? Would Johnny have killed him?? That kick that Mr. Myagi got Daniel out of the way from, would've crushed his chest and killed him, I think. But, its only a movie, so...lol!!
