Same fans saying this is not a big deal at all will be crickets when these two decide to go elsewhere.
I’m not suggesting anyone should be freaking out by the way, just saying that more and more kids who should be going to BYU are not. 10 years ago and before it was very rare for BYU to lose a top flight lds Utahn to power 5 schools and was especially rare byu lost these kids to Utah. Anymore, it’s completely reversed. It’s now rare that BYU lands the top lds Utahn.
It is what it is but to get all defensive about it happening and being in denial is something I never thought I’d see from this program or fanbase. The tables for BYU and Utah have completely turned.
