Imagine we solved cancer. Where should the resources used on cancer go?
There is a report of an immune discovery that "may treat all cancer."



I understand it likely isn't the panacea advertised (and certainly too early to tell), but imagine for a second that the resources currently allocated to solving cancer could be entirely allocated to another problem. For example, in 2017, the American Cancer Institute had about $5-6 Billion in funding, and that is only one of many.

What problem would be the next best thing to try to solve with those resources?
