That wasn’t even possible at our school (I believe only AP/IB classes were weighted), and she would have to limit any extra classes like PE or sports or band so they didn’t drag down her GPA.

He said over 4.0. Some high schools use a scale that awards an extra point (5.0 for an A) in honors classes.

I'm sure they have a metric to consider the rigor of the classes taken but it is technically separate

AP and honors were weighted. Honors could get a 4.5, AP a 5.0
