Fantastic post, thanks for sharing.
I think the general advice to save as much as you can for retirement is a good thing, but I feel bad for people who slave away all day at a job they hate only to be told by financial “experts” that they’ll only ever be able to retire if they accumulate an impossible amount of money.
I think for most people who can manage their expenses the story looks a lot more promising, like yours.
