Exactly this. It’s akin to a car salesman telling you that you need a different
Car every few years, and that you shouldn’t trust an old beater ever.
They make more money, the more money people save with them... so to drum up business they have to make people perpetually afraid that they aren’t saving enough (although to be fair most people aren’t) but part of me wonders if their fear monger if has led to less people saving rather than more due to giving up hope of achieving those “impossible” goals
