Aside from Iverson, briefly, none of them rose to the status of Kobe.
I’m a Mavs fan that thinks Dirk is the GOAT but when you look at what Kobe had to carry on and off the court as the face for the most notable franchise in the game it’s really not close.
Yes, there were other stars at the time but Kobe was the only major super star when you really think about it.
He picked up MJ’s torch as a teenager and ran with it. Look at what he accomplished by the time he was 25, he was a 3x NBA champ and a 4x all star and many said he was the next Jordan. None of those that you listed accomplished that or had to carry that weight.
