That was hardly a question. It was a string of statements and accusations
and nonsense comments likely dug up from CB, and then the question was basically, "well now that I outlined everything that is wrong, who is going to hold him accountable?"

"Tuiaki is not getting it done. Another DL recruit chose Utah." Shallow investigative work and a lack of awareness. Which I outlined in my first post. Never mind the thread where a guy said the same thing and about 50 people explained that he was a Utah legacy kid and as long as Utah offered and wanted him, he was always theirs to lose from the day he was born.

But nice attempt at spinning this as another negative on the coaches. There are plenty of negatives. This isn't one of them.

Not even going to address the buddy nonsense anymore.

Bunch of statements about "what we know" even though you hardly have any evidence to support it. How exactly do we know these things? Because it's what angry people on here think? He's not a game-day tactician, not an x's and 0's guy, but we hoped he could recruit. Well, frankly whether there ends up being any truth to any of that doesn't matter, because you just made that up off the top of your head. It's not something we can come close to confirming.

"You perform or you get cut loose." Look, I'm not a big Tuiaki fan either, but whether you like it or not, and want desperately to believe everything you read on CB, 3 of his 4 defenses as a first-time coordinator have been decent to pretty good overall. His worst one of the 3 was still better than 14 and 08, and it was in a year where the offense was just absolutely dreadful and affecting their performance for sure.
So by most standards, having defenses anywhere from the 20's to the 50's in 3 of 4 years is technically performing, as to not get cut loose.

Does the stuff from this last season have to change? You're dang right it does. It can't happen again. It was bad. Does it negate the other years? Not at all.

Last, you're asking a question while simultaneously making a statement that you can't actually confirm. So the question is pointless. We can't answer how we expect Kalani to keep players accountable based solely on the idea that he doesn't hold his coaches accountable... Because there's no way for you to support that argument.

So yes, like I said, this all started because of a lack of homework on a recruit who was never going to choose BYU anyway and has family ties to the school he chose. We see this stuff every year. Follow recruiting for 5 minutes to find something to complain about.

Now, are you going to ask about accountability specifically for this past season? That matters more than anything. But it's still not really something fans can answer. How the heck are we supposed to be able to? Kalani hasn't been happy and is making off-season changes with coaches, so there's your start. Other than that, we don't know.
