E2P3 = Exceeding Expectations through Passion, Performance, and . . .something else that started with "P". I don't remember.
But they'd keep repeating "E2P3!!!" all day long and expect us to say it back to them. It became the most non-passionate, monotone standard utterance ever. But the eye-rolls were on point.
And this was just a company that distributed crappy products to gas stations and convenience stores. Really something to get passionate about.
I'm not against mission statements. But to expect them to be a driving force where other driving forces are missing is fooling yourself.
