I guess it depends at what age you are going to retire
I’m probably gonna work until I am 65-67 years old...So I don’t really see a huge need to save much more than 10%....My goal is to accomplish most of the fun things in life, and do all the traveling I want to do before I retire. I know too many people that spend their whole life saving big chunks of their income, To only be too old, sick or dead to to ever enjoy it as they had planned.

Don’t get me wrong, I plan To have a nice chunk of change hopefully, but I don’t see a need to over plan. I will say though, my home does have two incomes which helps.
