Mad Martigan is one of the greatest movie Heroes of the late 80s, Val Kilmer’s
Second greatest performance behind Doc Holiday. But yeah the effects were pretty dated quickly, not far off from the Made for TV Ewok movies. I remember watching Willow probably a decade or so after it came out and thinking how awful it looked, today I can watch LOTR and it still looks pretty darn good. Maybe I should Keep going and see how many awesome, nostalgic references I can make it one post...Ghostbusters.
