seems to be a movie ripe for a reboot
I haven't seen it since the 80's. I remember it fondly, but not so fondly to think a reboot with new cast couldn't do well and become a new fond memory.
Since the era of LOTR, fantasy movies are all dark and serious. It would be nice to have one with heart and humor.
and yes, I still do quote it occasionally, even though nobody around but my brother even remembers where the quotes come from. it's basically an inside joke now.
