I honestly thought this was common knowledge given that it occurred almost six months ago and was in almost every news outlet, all over Twitter, and discussed on CB for several days/weeks when it happened, but seeing this post and now the replies rolling in on this thread, I clearly was wrong. I was really frustrated when it happened and I had a chance to voice my displeasure when it occurred and apparently several fans haven't had that chance.

With that said, I still think it is a bad look for CB and BYU fans in general to be ripping apart the guy at this point given how long ago it occurred even if you missed out on seeing the original tweet when it happened. He deleted the tweet shortly after he tweeted it out six months ago and also issued an apology, he hasn't said another negative thing publicly about BYU since then that I know of, and for all I can see he is in a much better spot now then he was back then. While people in this post are ripping him apart for his tweet from six months ago, here is his most recent tweet from yesterday:

IMO, the intent of the KSL article was not for BYU fans to get out the torches and pitchforks against Nick Emery again, but was more to praise Mark Pope and all the obstacles he has had to deal with. He is one awesome dude.
