The article is clearly written about Pope and all the tough obstacles he has had to deal with in the past and the Emery part was a very small piece in a much larger article all about Pope. I'm assuming that KSL was writing that article for the avid BYU fan that was already well aware of it and so when you get to the Emery part in the article, you would think something like "oh, yeah, that was pretty rough. Pope did an excellent job of navigating that mess. Pope is the man.".....not "What the yewt!!?!? Nick Emery said what? Man, that guy deserved to get booted straight out of BYU and really needs to let that go. Get out the torches and pitchforks!"
