If he wants to go to BYU not much. Literally.
Directly spoke to admissions and they don't weight taking ap clases any more than any other unless they get a 4 on the test maybe a 3 and then they give yhe grade more weight..so it could improve his gpa that wY,but they don't care if a kid takes ap jonors or remedial crap.
They consider gpa and for that reason it could impact him.
Id let him have fun and maybe take 1 or 2 if he wants too.
