Sounds like the kid's a lock if he continues as is. Seems AP classes are a
potential two edge sword. BYU not accepting weighted grades makes one think to take less AP classes. But if your classes aren't challenging enough, then a kid might not learn sufficient study habits to succeed in college. We're in the same boat as you with our daughter picking Junior classes and is looking at 4 AP classes, which I felt was nuts. But I don't doubt her commitment to getting the work done as she's got way better study habits than I did.
