there are hundreds of non-music majors who take lessons from grad students in all different instruments and singing. I took some jazz piano lessons. These lessons are one on one. Between this building and the new one, they will have the space to do these without having to use professor's offices. Plus, if they get rid of the De Jong, they wont have a place for theater and dance productions. I could see an extensive renovation though.
