it seemed that many of the assumptions were predicated on zero air movement and long term exposures. Since we didn't have any bedrooms finished in our basement at the time, I didn't even bother with a test. If my kids were living in rooms with high radon, I would likely mitigate but just sporadic limited play time or whatever in the basement wasn't a concern for me.

I guess I won't win dad of the year.
