This is why I haven't done any mitigation in mine. I pulled up some of my old records, the worst was
6.2, and it was in the storage room (no air movement). You'd expect it to be high there. Radon can't penetrate the linings of your food, so it's no risk in the storage room.

The areas with activity, one was 2-4 (If I remember, I don't have the record with me), the other was below 2.

I've ordered a few more test kits as we are starting to spend more time in the basement. A long term kit which I'm not putting in the storage room and is more reflective of the natural ventilation of the living space and two more short-term kits to get a more accurate model of what is going on.

So I've done 3 tests already with drastically different results, I don't think I'd recommend mitigation after one short-term test at all.
