This is true too. Absent a Gonzaga/BYU final, a bigger arena would not sell out

Maybe a Saturday game. I don't think a Tuesday night game would.

Gonzaga wouldn't want it

Are you suggesting Gonzaga success is based on small audience or arenas?

Gonzaga controls the process for getting tournament tickets. Harder to do if

How does Gonzaga control the process.?

they buy season basketball tickets from schools like LMU, Pacific, etc.
BlueK

So, they are just smarter and more assertive to get tickets.

sure, they are more assertive about the process. But not a valid argument for

Would a BYU/Gonzaga NCAA final sell out 80,000? And would people be happy?

Not the point. The current venue is a joke

While I agree with you....its not like BYU fans have been flocking to it lately

not true. It's sold out. The only way to get tickets is from online scalping

Game the system to get tickets? That just sounds weird.

Yeah, your assumptions are incorrect

Well - I can see how the other teams wouldn't complain about Zags buying...

Was frustrating when they extended the contract with the Orleans Arena.

The Orleans is at best the 4th best basketball arena in Vegas. Sad they re-upped the contract there.

It's a huge advantage to Gonzaga to keep it small. The rest of the schools don't
