I think there are a couple of reasons Nick didn't end up being as good as we
wished he would be.
1) One of my friends was the manager for 2 years, and he said because of Nick's nerves he barely had any feeling in his hands. That makes shooting very difficult. You could tell the drop in Mannings play once he lost feeling in his hands, he couldn't make the same throws, Nick couldn't make the same shots.
2) Not that Nick is lazy, because he hustled. But I heard he wasn't a gym rat like Yo and Toolson are.
