That being said, once I buckled down into my discipline, even some core classes were useless.  However they taught me how to think and how to reason and identify patterns.

Is there a better way to do that instead of the current public school method?

Absolutely.

Can I think of one?

Nope.

I think school is as long as it is because adults need it to be to work.
