The defense against a pandemic CAN be more crippling to the economy than the THREAT of war.

The country needs to put some serious money into labs, testing, temporary shelters, emergency respiratory care, PPE, etc.

The reaction to this disease is a defense against the possible warfare and overwhelming on our healthcare system.

My post is in no way saying that we, as a country, have made the wrong or right reaction but if we are going to react this way in the future as a world, then we need to step up and be a world leader pandemic preparation. We clearly are not.
