If there's even a chance that not calling it "Chinese flu" can preempt this kind
of behavior, why not just do it. Why not stop calling it the "Chinese flu" and instead just call it what we've been calling it for weeks — COVID19 or just coronavirus? Really, even there's even the faintest whiff of a chance we can avoid this kind of garbage, why not just stop calling it "Chinese flu"? Why is the right decision to now make the shift away from the term we've been using in favor of a term that *might* be encouraging negative attitudes toward a group of people? Why is that the right choice?
