or overwhelmed by the work that we are doing, I try to remind myself and my co-workers and we are on the frontlines of a major event in world history. This is a worldwide pandemic, and all healthcare providers across the globe will remember this time for the rest of our careers (and really, the rest of our lives).

Hopefully we will be able to look back and be proud of the work we did.

And broadly speaking, I hope the same for everyone in society. There will be more deaths, and many more serious illnesses, and millions of people will suffer financially. But hopefully most of us respond in ways that we can be proud of later. We're all in this together. And like you said, we will all remember this time for the rest of our lives.
