200 deaths out of 311,000,000 people? ~15K cases for the same 311,000,000 people. Yet all 311,000,000 will bare significant financial obligations because of this. You just can't take on more than a trillion in debt for the govt' and not have that come due some day. Not to mention the millions of people losing their jobs, etc. $1,000 or $2,000 will not make up the difference in lost wages, etc.
This cure, it is way, way, way worse than the disease. This could of been solved 2 months ago with the production of actual testing kits and increased testing centers.
