I have a theory that patients are being left at home and so early
Interventions that might possibly work to ease up the ARDS isn't happening. Essentially, they are told, stay home, you aren't sick enough. Well, they then get in distress and end up intubated whne they crash quickly.

What if ALL covid positive patients had a pulse oximeter given to them and if it drops, we start them in a clinical drug trial to see if plaquenil or other interventions would prevent intubation? I suspect early detection would prevent ARDS.
