This is very misleading
It's showing total deaths for covid-19 on any given day vs the average for everything else over an entire year.
Even in worst case predictions out there, COVID-19 will look like a bell curve and the average for a year will likely not exceed that of heart disease and may not even exceed many other averages shown below it on the graph. Also, flu shows a similar pattern of growth during flu season even if the growth is slower.
That isn't to say we shouldn't take it seriously but things like this are not helpful.
