Getting a scholarship is a great honor but no position or playing time should ever be promised. If a transfer or new player comes in
to the program and outplays somebody already on the team then the better player should play. That's how it works with successful teams and in the real world. If a player is worried they'll be passed up by another player, they should focus on improvement.
