We want to slow the spread to those who would require hospitalization

Otherwise, the public health goal ought to be to get as many people though COVID so they can no longer be carriers of it!

As any knowledgeable person will explain, COVID is coming back for second and third encores. The more who get it now, without overloading hospitals, the better off we will be this fall and winter.
