Sure, boiling a frog in a pot of water by slowly turning the temperature up from

low to boiling over 10-20 minutes would have been more effective. Or, they could have done the same thing with the egg. Both would have been more "accurate" in showing the true long-term effect of drugs on the human brain.

There's only one small problem...commercials only last 15-60 seconds.

As an ad it was very effective. As a way to stop drug use it was ineffective.
