You can’t measure it the way you do a typical ad.
A typical ad, company runs a spot in a market and see if it leads to increased sales.

So for the “this is your brain” did they run it in a community and then measure the money spent on drugs that week to see if it declined? No.

As an ad, it is iconic. Everything you want in an ad. So much that we are still talking about it years later. It won accolades as one of the top commercials of all time.

But yes- somehow- kids still tried drugs despite the ad. Weird. Next they will make an ad that says “hey kids...don’t have sex” and we will see if teenagers stop having sex.
