Don’t you think, though, that most people in the US wearing masks are doing it for the perceived purpose
of not being contaminated by someone else? And all the people in China who wear masks on a daily basis also do that to protect from pollution and other outside elements, as I don’t think they are just doing that to protect others from their communicable diseases. Who knows though, I guess if everyone were wearing one it wouldn’t matter which reason they’re being worn for.
