basically said two things:
(1) The data that we have for COVID-19 is not as good as we would like it to be.
(2) We could *possibly* be overreacting to this pandemic, because - again - we don't have great data.
Notably, his article did *not* include one single suggestion about what should actually be done to respond to the pandemic.
So, to recap: He said two things that pretty much every adult in the U.S. already knew, and then bravely made absolutely zero recommendations about what to actually do.
Frankly, I was disappointed. Like you said, he has a strong reputation as a legit scientist, so I was very interested to hear what he had to say. In the end, his article ended up being one of the most useless things about COVID-19 that I have read over the past few months.
