What is the point?

The family looked to be all healthy. Husband and wife in their early 40’s. No health conditions in anyone that they mentioned.

Husband got sick and tested positive so they have him stuck in the basement and they are talking about the struggle to keep him away from infecting the rest of the family and how they have to leave food for him a few times a day.

What is going on? Am I taking crazy pills?

This is not a death sentence people. If your husband doesn’t give you the virus then chances are some stranger at some point in the next year will. You aren’t going to escape the virus. You are healthy and will show mild symptoms at worst. No need to quarantine dad from the rest of his healthy family.

I’m so tired of news and social media turning this thing into something it’s not. The quarantine is not to keep you from getting the virus. It’s to keep everyone from getting it all at once.
