Crummy, but I also read anyone who now dies who tests positive for Covid

Counts as a COVID death if they die.

If Covid infections are widespread in hospitals and nursing homes this means a large number of all elderly deaths could be counted as COVID deaths, regardless of the health complications of the person.

It is more important than ever that the age and comorbidities be made available to the public.
