Chance to get a scholarship or play for Utah who is arguably a top 5 place in the country for a D lineman - let alone the other positives there for an LDS kid from Utah in regards to making a more seem less transition as a transfer
Now I get it the “rivals” aspect that fans (more than players) get emotional about and obviously some players would take it personally as well
But when it became clear that the kid wasn’t going anywhere with his current situation and given his NFL bloodlines and “potential” ceiling.. and given everything at stake (livelihood, millions $) abd given what his family has done for BYU - personally, I think this is one issue that BYU fans should give them a pass on.
But obviously just my opinion
