Because he was behind Wilmore and Brumfield on the depth chart and Green, Bernard and Jordan were looking to take the “speedster” role away from him (and Dixon and Covey as well).

Or, you go to a school like BYU and be the #1 back day one.

He made the right decision. But it had nothing to do with faith.
