Odds are, you'll eventually end up with it unless you're one of the 30% or so of Americans that don't due to eventual herd immunity. Any stance like yours that assume social distancing and lockdowns are a barrier that prevents the spread are just flat out wrong. There is no stopping the spread of the virus to the population. At this point, the only affect we can have until we have a vaccine in 2021 is affect the rate of spread.
That's where the debate should be. How much slowing is necessary, and how do we balance that against damage to the economy.
