It's hard to remember, that most of those who fought and served in WW2 were young men. Many teenagers or those in their 20's. When the call came to stand up for freedom, liberty and the right to choose, they went. Many likely terrified. But they went and were willing to do what it took and sacrifice their own lives. These young men could have been cowards and run from the fight. They could have justified not going, in some way shape or form. Yet, they did not. They will forever and always be a powerful example of standing for what is right.
