the players just won't accept it, there is nothing you can do as a coach. A great example was NO vs Tampa a two seasons ago. Those are some of the top shelf football coaches in the world with one of the best QB's to ever play the game but coaches were powerless. It took a player to change it (Taysom in this case) to get the players minds right. This is why we look for player leaders that can mentally get the team where it needs to be. It's also why our BBall team was so good this year. We had four or five of them that on any given night could influence their teammates to get over the hump.
