I actually don’t know much about how he feels about the situation other than

he’s glad he still has a job. His comment came up in the context of a conversation about how we don’t know the denominator to determine case fatality rates. He said we don’t know the numerator either, made his comment and the conversation went another direction.

He’s more of an acquaintance than someone I’m close to so we haven’t communicated much.
