If you want to help BYU...

and you are a bajillionaire? Fund a bowl game with the largest pay out. Then tell the P5 conferences that affiliation is based on inviting BYU to your conference. I think there are 1 or 2 conferences that would overcome any issues they have with BYU.

They wouldn't accept it. They don't want to appear to spend too much on sports.
