If an LDS player is offered by BYU and, say, NMST and chooses NMST. . .
Wouldn't that be a little telling? What about him makes him want NMST (clearly an inferior choice from a football perspective)?
Choosing BYU over Alabama could be seen as similar.
But, also, maybe we should think players choosing BYU over lesser programs could be better than advertised for choosing the higher-level competition?
Or maybe none of it matters.
