Next time don't run away, just kick the dogs.

I've only had to do that once on a run when a dog ran right at me. Owner was pissed. Told her to control her dagum aggressive dog and it wouldn't be an issue. She gave me a state. Her neighbor that witnessed it yelled "that's right. Next time kick it harder."
