Sports have a time limit, so you can't watch it all day. Sports encourage
physical activity, even when you're just watching. Sports is a social activity (or at least it used to be), and is often enjoyed in groups. Lots of reasons.

My 9 year old watches some kid named Preston play Minecraft. Preston looks and acts like a geeky 16 year old kid.
